Bob Gagnon plays rythym guitar and does most of the lead singing in Assembly Required. He is the guy you will likely see leaping around the stage (often due to even minor changes in his medication) while telling jokes which he tries to keep just on the inside boundaries of social decorum. Bob, a native of Sudbury, Ontario is our token country music boy whose influences are the classic country of Hank Williams and Merle Haggard as well as the contemporary country of Dwight Yokham and others. He is also a huge fan of the rock music of the 50's through the 70"s.
Alan Sandeman's first instrument was guitar. However, he has recently added the bass as it helped to create a much fuller sound with the band's current instrumentation. Alan does some lead vocals, but prefers contributing to Assembly Required's impressive background harmonies.
Tom Rose is a recent addition to Assembly Required playing lead guitar, harmonica and occasional bass but of course adding critical lead vocals and harmonies. Originally from Toronto, Tom has played in several successful bands over his 40 plus years in music. He has a background in blues, country rock and folk ...the only thing he won't play is polkas.
